mainsqueeze's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BIG ONE The first time is the best time, the most important time. Last night, I didn't even want to say it, I was telling myself not to, and I looked at him and it just fell out. I looked at him and the room was kind of dark, his eyes were closed and his hair was messy, I said, "You're scary," and he said, "I'm sorry." And that's when it happened, my mouth was right next to his ear, I whispered, "I love you." I then leapt from the bed and darted from the room, babbling something about watching television. And that asshole, he let me wait, didn't say it back but when I got up to set my alarm he had--go effing figure, this one with the verbal hate--texted me, I love you, too. Ha. And we said it again, in bed, and again in the morning, and I am sure I have felt this before but right now it feels like I am in love for the very first time, ever, like I invented love and nobody else has ever or will ever know what it really is. He is now officially moved in, which means I have to deal with his bong left out in the living room, his boxers on the bedroom floor, and his unhealthy bacon and cheese mashed potatoes in the freezer, but I get to deal with good stuff, too. I get to deal with the way he doesn't bat an eye when my dogs have accidents on the carpet, the other day he looked at me very matter of factly and said, "You get the poop, I'll get the pee," and it was funny and gross and damnit, he helped me, and I get to deal with those amazing green eyes every morning and every night, and I get to deal with the way he rubs my butt when we go to bed and I get to deal with him talking about ancient Roman battle techniques and my god this is terrifying, I AM IN LOVE. 12:06 a.m. - 2007-11-12 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
