my broken house

The morning so far:
Woken up at nine a.m. by Kate, who expressed rather loudly her desire to have cookies for breakfast;
Found what may have been a chicken embryo (ew, ew, ew, fucking EW)in the eggs I attempted to make Kate for a more suitable breakfast;
Discovered a nest of baby earwigs in the bathtub mermaid's hair;
Leaned against the wall in the bathroom and watched in sheer horror as it caved in under my hand.
So far that's all, but it's not even noon yet. Mmmm-hmmm!
